It had just rained the previous day and Valley School looked all green. I had walked ahead when a friend who was behind me said that there was an owl. I walked back all the way again and fortunately, the owl was still around. It was the Collared Scops Owl popping out of its tree hole. It is a busy time for these resident birds. The Tickell’s Blue Flycatchers are busy building their nest. Infact they are all over the place at Valley School. The Tawny-bellied Babblers seemed busy too, and as usual in groups. At one point these two stopped for a while and engaged in this act.
